A sand cat might look like the cutest species of cats but they are grown in wild desert. They are mainly found in harsh solitary environment and they barely found it difficult to survive. The most amazing fact about the sand cats is that even the oldest of them would look like a cute charming little kitten. Although their many attributes and traits are similar to the domestic cats, these sand cats can survive in extreme conditions. They are comfortable in intense temperature ranging from -5°C to 52°C.
The scientific name for Sand cat is Felis margarita. Despite having an overloaded cutnes on their faces, these cats are wilder than your imagination. They can run on sand with the speed of 25 mph which makes them a perfect hunter. Unfortunately these cats are under threat due to traps which are mainly set for livestock pardetors and some incidents are being reported that these cats are captured by illegal pet sellers.
