Stevie, a blind rescue cat, was adopted by Patrick Corr 4 years back. He found her at a local shelter home located in Cork, Ireland. Patrick says that this cat has some amazing hiking skills.
Patrick and Stevie along with his brother planned on climbing Carrauntoohil in Country Kerry, Ireland in order to raise funds for local shelter homes in their area. They wanted to appreciate and give back to those people who make the reason of their lives to help animals. They were successful in raising over €1500 ($1700)! Patrick believes that the cost that may be required in providing care and healthy environment to the animals is quite high but the money they collected would be their contribution and an a token of appreciation for the people who run these shelters for animals.
Patrick says that Stevie has been on a break ever since they came back from Carrauntoohil, but they’re looking forward to have many more adventurous trips in future. He tells us about his adventure in the following pictures and also made a video about the climb. Do check it out!
